Robots in Retail

According to a new RetailWire survey, one in four retailers say they currently have an in-store robotics project underway, and nearly half say they will be involved in one in the next 18 months,

The results of the survey, conducted last month, underscore the growing significance of robotic automation technology in the post-pandemic marketplace. These technologies are seen as key for assisting workers with a variety of tasks, from floor cleaning to shelf scanning, both in stores and in warehouses.

The design of the Rotterdamsebaan with the most sustainable tunnel in Europe, is an example for modern infrastructure The Rotterdamsebaan opened last Saturday, 19th February. This new road connects the ring road of The Hague with highways A4 and A13. Part of the Rotterdamsebaan is the 1.8 kilometer long Victory Boogie Woogie tunnel; the most sustainable tunnel in Europe. Benthem Crouwel Architects, Paul de Ruiter Architects and Landschappartners jointly signed for the design commissioned by Combinatie Rotterdamsebaan, consisting of BAM and VolkerWessels, companies Van Hattum en Blankevoort, KWS and Vialis.

In collaboration with the New York artist and illustrator Justin Teodoro, the fashion brand BOSS presents a creative, entertaining window installation for the Christmas season 2020. With the BOSS x Justin Teodoro capsule collection, the Christmas concept has been translated into fashion and is available in all three stores.
